Roofing Giant published two distinct referral programs on October 15, 2026: one for individuals who introduce an eligible homeowner and another for businesses and professional contacts seeking a documented working relationship. The distinction matters. Reward eligibility, consent, professional approvals and the timing of any payment are not the same as simply providing someone’s name.
This guide explains the published rules for Dallas–Fort Worth property owners and potential business partners, with links to the actual program pages. It is educational; the official terms and any approved written partner agreement govern individual eligibility.
Choose the right referral path
| Question | Consumer Referral Rewards | Giant Partner Network |
|---|---|---|
| Intended participants | Eligible individuals referring friends, family, neighbors or other property owners | Qualified contractors, restoration firms, property professionals and commercial introducers |
| Entry process | Submit a referral with the homeowner’s consent, or ask the homeowner to contact Roofing Giant and identify the referrer | Submit a professional application, undergo review and receive written approval before compensated referrals |
| When compensation becomes eligible | After qualifying work is completed, required final payment is received and referral validity is verified | Under approved written terms, generally after qualifying completion, payment collection and required compliance review |
| Special restrictions | Duplicates, previously active opportunities, unpaid or canceled projects and other exclusions | Professional licensing, brokerage, fiduciary, employer and transaction-related restrictions |
Consumer rewards: what the advertised amounts actually mean
The Roofing Giant Referral Rewards page lists a $250 base reward for a qualifying completed full residential roof replacement, and $100 for a qualifying smaller roofing or exterior project that meets the program minimum. The smaller-project category is not a promise of $100 for every inspection or minor service inquiry.
The program also describes additional rewards at the three-, five- and ten-completed-full-roof-referral milestones. Its neighborhood initiative, called the Giant Block Bonus, may provide another $250 when three qualifying full-roof referrals satisfy the same neighborhood-cluster rules. These conditions are evaluated against Roofing Giant’s referral and job records; the published amounts do not bypass validation.
A contract signature is not the reward trigger. An eligible referral must pass the program’s rules, the roofing work must be completed, and Roofing Giant must receive the required final customer payment. A duplicate introduction or an already active lead may be ineligible even when a roofing project eventually proceeds.
A practical example for a DFW homeowner
Suppose a neighbor asks about the contractor who worked on a nearby roof. The responsible first step is to confirm the neighbor wants an introduction. The referrer can then use the official referral form or direct the neighbor to Roofing Giant and ask them to identify the referrer. Roofing Giant evaluates the property’s actual needs, prepares its own scope and price, and records the referral relationship.
If the neighbor only requests an inspection, there is no automatic $250 payment. If a qualifying project proceeds, is completed and is paid under the program’s terms, the referral can be reviewed for eligibility. This example describes the process; it does not represent an actual Roofing Giant customer or guarantee a reward.
Giant Partner Network: why written approval comes first
The Giant Partner Network is a separate application path for trades, home-service companies, restoration firms, commercial property owners, property managers, investors, facilities teams and other eligible professional introducers. Applying does not create an approved paid partnership. Roofing Giant first evaluates the proposed relationship and any employer, brokerage, fiduciary or other restrictions.
For approved partners operating under the published standard schedule, residential rewards generally follow the qualifying $250/$100 categories. Commercial compensation is set in fixed amounts tied to the qualifying completed contract-value ranges:
| Qualifying final contract value | Standard approved-partner referral compensation |
|---|---|
| $5,000–$24,999 | $250 |
| $25,000–$49,999 | $500 |
| $50,000–$99,999 | $750 |
| $100,000–$249,999 | $1,500 |
| $250,000 and above | $2,500, unless a written addendum states otherwise |
Larger portfolios, enterprise relationships and unusual projects may need a separate written addendum. A published schedule is not itself approval of a particular participant, payee or opportunity.
Four safeguards worth understanding before submitting a name
1. The homeowner must agree to be contacted
A referrer should not submit another person’s phone number, email or property details without that person’s agreement. If the homeowner prefers to initiate contact, direct them to the Roofing Giant inspection and estimate request and ask them to identify the referrer.
2. Rewards cannot waive an insurance deductible
Referral compensation is separate from the customer’s roof contract and any insurance obligations. It is not a deductible waiver, reimbursement, rebate, credit or offset. Roofing Giant is a roofing contractor, not the party that decides insurance coverage or claim settlement.
3. Referral rewards are not payment for reviews
The consumer program does not require someone to leave a public review, provide a positive rating or change review wording in exchange for referral compensation. Referrals and customer-feedback requests should remain separate.
4. Professional conflicts must be reviewed
Real-estate professionals involved in transactions, property managers with fiduciary responsibilities, HOA representatives and insurance or settlement-related personnel may face additional restrictions. Appropriate broker, employer, property-owner or organizational authorization may be needed; some roles may not qualify for paid referrals at all. Partners cannot represent themselves as Roofing Giant’s authorized agents or negotiate insurance claims on its behalf without separate authority.
What Roofing Giant needs to verify
Before approving a consumer reward or a professional payment, the program calls for documenting the original referral, checking whether the contact or opportunity is already active, confirming eligibility and appropriate approvals, and verifying completion and required customer collections. Professional rewards also require the applicable written terms, payee and compliance documentation.
For homeowners: Read the consumer program terms and then use the official referral form. For businesses: Review the professional partner terms and submit a Partner Network application. The original October 15, 2026, announcement explains why Roofing Giant separated the two programs.
