Collection and use of personal information
Personal information is data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact a single person. You may be asked to provide personal information any time you are in contact with Roofing Giant. It may also be combined with other information to help us provide and improve our products, services, content and advertising.
What personal information we collect
- When you schedule an appointment or a roof inspection, or fill out any form on our website, we may collect your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, contact preferences and, where applicable, payment information.
- When you refer a friend for a roofing project, we may collect the information you provide about them, such as name, mailing address, email address and phone number.
- In limited circumstances, for example financing applications handled by our lending partners, we may ask for a Social Security number.
How we use your personal information
- To schedule and perform inspections, estimates and roofing work, and to communicate with you about your project.
- To keep you informed about Roofing Giant’s latest services, updates and events, and to improve our services, content and advertising. You can opt out of our mailing list at any time.
- If you enter a sweepstake, contest or similar promotion, to administer that program.
We may use your IP address to help diagnose server problems and understand which parts of our site are being used. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, so your session is tracked but you remain anonymous. Website forms send your details to our lead inbox over an encrypted connection.
Disclosure to third parties
We may share personal information with companies that help us deliver our services, such as information processing, extending credit, fulfilling orders, managing customer data, providing customer service or conducting satisfaction surveys. These companies are obligated to protect your information. When you ask us to assist with an insurance claim, we share inspection findings with your insurance carrier at your direction.
We may disclose information about you if necessary for national security, law enforcement or other matters of public importance, or if reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations and users.

Protection of personal information
Roofing Giant takes reasonable precautions to secure your personal information against loss, theft, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We communicate our privacy and security guidelines to all Roofing Giant employees and enforce privacy safeguards company-wide.
Roofing Giant: Build Your Empire public beta
The Roofing Giant: Build Your Empire browser game stores company saves and a playtest progress summary locally in your browser. Sending public-beta playtest telemetry to Roofing Giant is optional and is disabled unless you choose to opt in.
If you opt in, the game sends only allowlisted aggregate playtest events and coarse context. Main-company events may include gameplay milestones, the selected difficulty, a coarse device class (phone, tablet or desktop), a coarse in-game day range, whether the game is running as an installed web app, the game version and, for session-end events, a coarse session-duration range. Beginning with version 4.7.1, the browser may also report whether a session is new or locally returning, without sending a persistent player or session identifier. Challenge Mode is measured separately and may report only that a challenge was started or submitted, the fixed challenge ID and the final medal tier. The playtest system immediately combines accepted events into daily aggregate counters.
The playtest dataset does not store your name, email address, account identifier, persistent player or session identifier, IP address, browser user-agent string, game save contents, customer or job names, location, cash balance, ledger values or advertising identifiers. Our hosting provider may retain ordinary website access or security logs separately from the playtest dataset.
You can turn optional playtest telemetry on or off at any time in the game’s Settings. Main-company progression and Challenge Mode counters are kept separate in the aggregate report. The game’s local playtest summary remains on your device unless you choose to export it.
