Manufacturer credentials: what is verified now
Owens Corning
Roofing Giant has a current public Owens Corning Preferred contractor profile. The manufacturer directory may retain older contact details; use Roofing Giant’s Dallas and Frisco location pages above as the current source of truth for phone numbers and addresses.
GAF & Malarkey
Manufacturer contractor status and enhanced-warranty eligibility can change. Roofing Giant verifies current GAF and Malarkey program status, product requirements and project eligibility before representing a credential or enhanced manufacturer warranty in writing.
Historical recognition
Golden Hammer Award
Roofing Giant received North Texas Roofing Contractors Association recognition for a residential roofing project completed in 2015 and recognized at the 2016 awards.
Inc. recognition
Roofing Giant was recognized as an Inc. 5000 Series: Texas honoree in 2020.
Historical awards are presented as historical recognition. They should not be interpreted as a statement of current association membership.
How Roofing Giant staffs roofing work
Roofing Giant uses qualified subcontractor roofing crews. Roofing Giant manages project scope, installation standards, quality-control inspections, cleanup expectations and the applicable Roofing Giant workmanship warranty. Public descriptions should not state that roof installation is performed exclusively by Roofing Giant employees or “in-house crews.”
Manufacturer project evidence
Roofing Giant also publishes a DFW Roofing Manufacturer Project Library that connects named products to specific completed project records and original photographs. Historical product use is separate from current manufacturer contractor status; current credentials and warranty eligibility should be verified for the specific program and project.
Texas roofing license vs. city registration
Texas does not currently issue a statewide reroofing-contractor license, while DFW cities use different contractor-registration and permit rules. Roofing Giant’s current Texas roofer license & DFW contractor-registration guide separates those requirements and links to the applicable public sources.
For directories, associations and publishers
If an older directory or article conflicts with the information above, use Roofing Giant’s current office pages and this verification page rather than copying an older listing. The current public domain is roofinggiant.com; legacy domains such as roofingcompanyfrisco.com should not be used as the current Roofing Giant website. “24/7” refers to phone/online intake and storm response, not staffed storefront hours. For project data, methodology and citation-ready resources, use the DFW Roofing Data & Media Center.
