Meet the adjuster

Meet with the adjuster on the day when they come to do the roof inspection. Be professional and nice even when the adjuster is not nice. You can disagree with the adjuster but do it in a professional manner. If it is an independent adjuster then usually he is nice too. Allow the adjuster to do his work but also if he does not include something on the claim that is impacted by hail or wind then point it to the adjuster in a professional way. If the adjuster does not want to acknowledge the damages then you need to take the pictures and submit them to your manager through our software. Make sure to get the adjuster’s business card or at least the name and the phone number.

When you meet with the adjuster make sure to fill out Job Submittal Checklist if not done yet.
